I’m Kirstie Cortez, a Southern California REALTOR® passionate about making real estate feel a lot less overwhelming and a lot more personal (and maybe even a little fun). I believe buying or selling a home should feel exciting, empowering, and tailored to your life — not like a cold transaction or a one-size-fits-all experience.

With over a decade of experience in project management, customer relations, event planning, and client-focused roles, I’ve built my business around communication, problem-solving, and genuinely helping people. I’m the type who usually has a plan B, C, and D ready to go, and I pride myself on being calm under pressure while helping clients feel confident every step of the way.

Before real estate, my career took me all over the West Coast. I was born and raised in Orange County, spent my early 20s in Arizona hiking the desert by day and managing events by night, then moved to Utah for the snowboarding, mountain biking, and rock climbing lifestyle. While there, I worked my way up through Hilton Hotels & Resorts and became the youngest Director of Banquets at age 26, earning a Young Professionals award along the way. I later lived in Las Vegas where I helped plan the Shriners Children’s Open as Director of Events for TPC Summerlin.

Now, real estate combines everything I love most — strategy, relationships, creativity, and helping people build a life they’re excited about.

My husband and I bought dirt and built our home from the ground up, so I have a special place in my heart for helping clients do the same. Going through that process ourselves gave me firsthand experience in everything from land purchases and construction to timelines, decision fatigue, and building a trusted team around you.

When I’m not selling real estate, you can usually find me off-roading in Glamis, spending weekends at the lake in Lake Havasu City, or escaping to the mountains with family and friends. But my favorite role by far is being a mama and a wife. I also run Norco Walk Club — my little “cool girl energy” community where we move our bodies, make friends, support local businesses, and show up for each other. I truly believe community matters just as much as the home you live in, and I’m passionate about helping people find both.
